Former Bensons For Beds, Macclesfield

Iceland were about to move into a former Bensons For Beds store in Macclesfield. The Main Contractor asked us to conduct the strip out of the building back to the shell to enable the fit out to proceed. This project needed a full M&E strip, all previous client’s fixtures and fittings, all stud walls, a large mezzanine floor removal, all floor coverings throughout and the ground floor sub-floor structure to enable them to grind the slab. This job had a strict 3-week window, which we completed in just over 2 weeks. Utilising our staff’s skills in skid steer and forklift operating, we brought the programme forward and bought some extra time for the MC to begin the fit out.
