The George, Southport

Acting as principle contractor for one of the country’s biggest supermarket chains, we undertook the internal strip out & enabling package on this former public house in Birkdale Village. Works included fully stripping out the 3 floors of the pub, including asbestos removal and conducting surveys to enable the fit out process to start. Upon starting the project, many historic photos of Southport and the local area were uncovered which we recirculated back into the local community who were very grateful. During our works on this project the client instructed a random health and safety audit, which caught the site team by surprise. However, we still achieved a 100% audit result with great praise from the auditor, which was immediately fed back to the client. Since, we have had more repeat business from this client and our relationship continues to strenghten.
