This project was a bit different to our standard strip outs as it entailed a full demolition of former factory units with asbestos sheeted roofs. We had to scaffold the gable end, reducing by had due to the close proximity of neighbouring buildings. Another big priority was continually damping down dust, and we also removed the asbestos roofing sheets using a ‘wet drop’ process. Our team made sure we protected the floor slab where possible for future use as a car park. Very controlled and efficient project and our client was very pleased with the result.
