This retail to residential strip out project involved a series of enabling works removing internal masonry walls and a complete soft strip throughout. We also removed two lift cars and associated rooftop plant. The majority of the works were to the first floor, so we were able to utilise the empty lift shaft for a quick and tidy waste removal route. We used a skid-steer loader and 3-tonne excavator with plenty of dust suppression within the controlled drop zone. Using the machine greatly reduced the manual handling element and accelerated the programme, resulting in both labour cost and time savings for our client.
