Riggs Hall Boarding House, Shrewsbury School

This project was negotiated in good time to allow the works to start immediately after the students left for their summer holidays. The works involved removing all remaining furniture, the strip out of ceilings, removal of floor covers, partition walls and masonry walls, and the removal of M&E services over three floors. We also had to remove sections of the roof, demolish a link corridor and adjoining buildings to make way for a new build. Our works also included demolishing load-bearing masonry walls which had to be phased due to Installing supporting steelwork. Another project successfully delivered for a repeat customer.
